Poured this after a long week and the mixed fermentation gives it this wild, tangy depth that I wasn't expecting from a beer. The Cabernet skins leave a dry, grapey finish that lingers just right. Already grabbed another bottle before the June date rolls around.
The way the Cabernet skins come through after the foeder age is wild—it's like a red wine and a farmhouse ale had a very good baby. That five-grain base gives it enough body to handle the grape character without turning jammy. I'd buy another bottle just for the complexity.
