Dit is onze interpretatie van een authentieke Duitse schwarzbier. Hij is lichter van body dan veel andere donkere bierstijlen (zoals stouts), maar heeft een zeer donkere kleur — makkelijk drinkbaar en met een laag alcoholpercentage, zonder veel geroosterde moutsmaak.
Poured it into a glass expecting a heavy stout, but this schwarzbier surprised me with how light it sits. The dark color hides how easy it drinks, and at that low ABV I could easily have a few without feeling weighed down. Perfect for a weeknight when I want flavor without the heft.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a dark beer that’s supposed to be light, but this one really pulls it off. The body is noticeably thinner than a stout, yet it’s still full of smooth, subtle roast that doesn’t linger too heavy. Perfect for a couple of pints after work without feeling weighed down.
Poured it into a pint glass and honestly did a double take — it looks like motor oil but drinks like a crisp lager. The low ABV makes it perfect for a second beer on a weeknight without feeling weighed down. Already grabbed another four-pack.
