The Talus and Simcoe combo gives this giant milkshake IPA a surprisingly smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel for how high the ABV climbs. Opened this expecting a typical thick IPA, but the orange addition really rounds out the El Dorado and Simcoe for something dangerously smooth at this ABV. Poured like a dream, and I caught myself sipping it like a dessert. The four-hop lineup is no joke, but it never gets harsh on the back end.
The Talus and HBC 472 hops give this milkshake IPA a really interesting dank-tropical bite that I wasn't expecting alongside the sweetness. It's dangerously smooth for how high the ABV is, so watch yourself—I finished mine before dinner and felt it.
