Doftnoter av vanilj, kola-chokladfudge och bakad frukt. Smaknoter av söt vanilj, cognacmarinerade russin och kola-chokladfudge.

Som namnet antyder har rommen slutligen lagrats på använda ölfat från Mikkellers populära öl Vanilla Shake, vars fat avger vanilj-, kaffe- och malttoner från ölets lagringstid. Tidigare har den melassbaserade rommen lagrats på använda bourbonfat i Guatemalas tropiska klimat.
