Ya preparamos esta maravilla una vez, mucho antes de To Øl City, pero queríamos darle una vuelta en nuestra nueva sala de cocción y ver qué podíamos hacer para crear una cerveza que realmente destacara el grano. Esta es una IPA con una buena cantidad de espelta en la malta, y luego lupulada en seco con Simcoe, Amarillo e Idaho Gem para redondear a esta bestia granulada.

The malt really comes through in this one, which is exactly what a grain-forward beer should be. I like that they reworked it in the new brewhouse, and the result feels cleaner and more balanced than the first batch I remember. Easily the best sixer I've grabbed this month.
Picked up a six-pack on a whim and honestly the grain-forward profile is exactly what I was hoping for—it's rich without being heavy, and the freshness from the new brewhouse really comes through. Pairs great with a burger, I'll be grabbing more before it disappears again.
Cracked this open after dinner and the grain bill is doing heavy lifting—toasted, bready, almost like fresh crust. Brewed in the new brewhouse, and you can tell the malt character is cleaner and more defined than the last batch I had years ago.
