La Chimay de tapa azul, bautizada como "Grande Reserve" en botellas de 750 ml, es una cerveza trapense oscura con un aroma potente, cuyo sabor complejo mejora con los años. Fue elaborada por primera vez como cerveza navideña por los monjes de la Abadía de Scourmont en 1956. Esta auténtica cerveza belga, cuyo toque de levadura fresca se combina con un ligero matiz floral y rosado, resulta especialmente agradable.
