ELG Gin No. 1 je křišťálově čistý univerzální gin. Je založen na jalovcových bobulích, semínkách koriandru a dánské mrkvi. Chuti dominuje jalovcová příchuť.
Navržen jako dokonalý mixér do mnoha různých koktejlů, ale můžete ho pít i čistý nebo „s ledem“. Skvěle se hodí k většině toniků pro přípravu klasického gin s tonikem. G&T je opalescentní díky velkému množství jalovcových bobulí.
I usually stick to London dry gins, but the coriander and Danish carrots give this one a clean, slightly earthy finish that works surprisingly well in a Negroni. The juniper is definitely front and center, so the classic gin character is still there — it's just smoother than my usual bottle.
The carrot note is subtle enough that it doesn't get in the way, but it definitely adds a soft sweetness that makes this a smooth sipper on the rocks. Juniper still leads, which is exactly what I look for in a gin.
This is my second bottle in as many months, and the juniper comes through clean and classic without any harsh bite. The coriander gives it just enough warmth to make a mean gin and tonic, and it mixes beautifully without getting lost.
