Vůně vanilky, karamelovo-čokoládové polevy a pečeného ovoce. Chuť sladké vanilky, rozinek marinovaných v koňaku a karamelovo-čokoládové polevy.

Jak název napovídá, rum byl nakonec skladován v použitých pivních sudech od populárního piva Vanilla Shake od Mikkeller, jejichž sudy během skladování piva uvolňují vanilkové, kávové a sladové tóny. Dříve byl rum na bázi melasy zrající v použitých sudech po bourbonu v tropickém klimatu Guatemaly.
