This Gose beer was created by ÅBEN for O/Day Fest, the brewery's new festival on the Copenhagen waterfront. Enjoy this refreshing gose with mango, lime, white peach, and sea salt at 4.5% - ja tak!
The sea salt really balances the mango and white peach without making it taste like a beach accident. I grabbed a four-pack for the festival lineup and it went down way too easy at 4.5%, so I'm stocking up for the next sunny afternoon.
The mango and lime hit right away, but that sea salt finish is what makes it so dangerously drinkable for a hot afternoon by the water. Picked up a few for the festival and they didn't last the first hour.
The mango and lime come through bright and juicy, but that hint of white peach keeps it from being too tart. Poured one for a friend at the waterfront and we both finished it before the sun went down—perfect for a warm evening, and at 4.5% it's dangerously easy to sip.
