We decided to go big on this mango and vanilla sour coming in at 8%. This one is heavy on Mango with a touch of Vanilla for balance. This is defiantly one for a late evening remembering the beautiful summer that's just leaving us.
The 8% ABV hits harder than I expected, which made it perfect for unwinding after a long day. The vanilla really does balance the mango just enough so it’s not overly sweet.
That 8% ABV sneaks up on you — by the time I finished the glass I was properly relaxed. The vanilla softens the mango just enough that it doesn't taste like candy, more like a smooth end-of-summer evening. Perfect for sipping slow on the porch.
The mango hits you right away, but that vanilla really smooths out the tartness in the finish. I cracked one open after dinner and it was the perfect way to wind down the evening.
