This is a super luscious pastry stout. Originally envisioned to max out the mash tun, this beer takes everything to the extreme, then it's aged 11 months in bourbon, rum, and white wine barrels. With hazelnuts, cacao nibs, vanilla, and lactose.
That bourbon and rum barrel combo is dangerously smooth for something this rich, and you can taste every one of those 11 months in each sip. It's thick enough to almost be dessert, but somehow it still finishes clean. I'm already planning my next order.
