The very first To Øl beer ever brewed has now been revisited, and is coursing through the chromatic veins of the To Øl City brewhouse! We haven’t messed with it much (as they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it ), but we have upped the use of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe for some extra ‘ooh la la’.
The fact that this is a revisited version of their original brew really shines through—it tastes like a refined classic, with that hop bitterness balanced just right. I cracked one open after a long week and it hit the spot perfectly, no regrets on the six-pack.
Revisiting the original recipe after all these years feels like catching up with an old friend who’s only gotten better. The hops are still bold and unapologetic, but there’s a smoother finish that makes the second can go down even easier than the first.
This is the beer that started it all for these brewers, and you can taste that history in every sip. It's bold and unapologetic, like they went back to the original recipe and just let it shine. If you've been drinking IPAs for years, this one feels like a proper homecoming.
