Scented notes of vanilla, caramel-chocolate fudge, and baked fruit. Taste notes of sweet vanilla, cognac marinated raisins, and caramel-chocolate fudge.

As the name suggests, the rum has been finally stored on used beer kegs from Mikkeller's popular beer, Vanilla Shake, whose casks exude vanilla, coffee, and malt notes from the beer's storage time. Previously, the molasses-based rum has been used on used bourbon barrels in Guatemala's tropical climate.
