Poured it after dinner and the dark candy sugar really comes through—sweet but with enough Belgian bite to keep it interesting. The caramel warmth lingers nicely, and at this strength, one bottle is plenty for a slow evening.
That caramel note hits right after the pour and lingers nicely into the dried fruit finish — dangerously easy to sip for something this strong. I was expecting cloying sweetness, but it stays balanced and rich.
The caramel and dried fruit notes balance the sweetness really well, and it pours a beautiful deep amber. I’d have liked a touch more carbonation to lift the finish, but for a cold evening sipper it’s exactly what I was after.
