Un dessert décadent et très apprécié, désormais encore meilleur en bière ! Malts noirs, cacao, grains de café, gousses de vanille et lactose se combinent pour une délicieuse gourmandise sucrée.
The vanilla and coffee beans really come through on the nose before the dark chocolate malt takes over on the sip. It's dangerously smooth for something this rich, and the lactose adds just enough sweetness to make it feel like an actual dessert in a glass. I've already bought another four-pack.
I cracked this open expecting dessert-adjacent, but the vanilla and coffee beans actually land like a proper tiramisu, not a gimmick. The dark chocolate malts give it a rich backbone that balances the lactose sweetness perfectly. Finishing one feels like finishing a slice, in the best way.
The lactose makes it almost dangerously smooth for 8% ABV, and the cocoa note lingers like a proper tiramisu dusting. I'd buy it again, though the sweetness does get a bit much after the second glass.
