Alkmene 2020

Cracked this open on a sunny afternoon and the single-variety Alkmene apples really come through — bright, crisp, and almost floral. It's a limited release, so I'm already wishing I'd grabbed a second bottle while it was available.

The apple flavor here is surprisingly delicate, not tart like most ciders, and it finishes incredibly clean. I grabbed a bottle to celebrate the first warm day and it nailed that fresh, spring feeling perfectly. If you can still find it, it’s worth trying before it’s gone.

Opened this on a sunny afternoon and the cold fermentation really lets the single Alkmene apple shine through—crisp, bright, and not too sweet. It's a limited release so I'm already sad I only grabbed two bottles, but that first sip was pure spring.
