A relatively pale, strong, malty German lager beer with a nicely attenuated finish that enhances drinkability. The hop character is generally more apparent than in other bocks — the perfect beer for the Oktoberfest period.

The hop bitterness really cuts through the malt sweetness, which makes it dangerously easy to keep drinking. I grabbed this for a slow afternoon and the clean, dry finish had me reaching for another bottle before I knew it.
That malty backbone hits first but the dry, clean finish keeps it dangerously easy to sip for a stronger lager. Hop presence is subtle yet noticeable, which sets it apart from heavier bocks I’ve tried. Glad I grabbed a few more bottles.
Opened one after a long week and the finish is so clean it barely tastes like 7% — dangerous in the best way. That hoppy edge really sets it apart from the usual syrupy bocks I've tried.
