We’ve brewed this bad boy once before way back before to Øl City, but we wanted to give it a spin in our new brewhouse and to see what we could do about making a beer really showcasing the grain. This is an IPA with a solid amount of spelt in the grist, then dry hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Idaho Gem to round this grainy beast out.

The malt really comes through in this one, which is exactly what a grain-forward beer should be. I like that they reworked it in the new brewhouse, and the result feels cleaner and more balanced than the first batch I remember. Easily the best sixer I've grabbed this month.
Picked up a six-pack on a whim and honestly the grain-forward profile is exactly what I was hoping for—it's rich without being heavy, and the freshness from the new brewhouse really comes through. Pairs great with a burger, I'll be grabbing more before it disappears again.
Cracked this open after dinner and the grain bill is doing heavy lifting—toasted, bready, almost like fresh crust. Brewed in the new brewhouse, and you can tell the malt character is cleaner and more defined than the last batch I had years ago.
