Møt North Sea Porter — en dristig vri på Anspach & Hobbays klassiske London Black Porter. Vi pakket den med mosaic-humle, omarbeidet den mørke malten, og la til en dekoksmask. Balansert av en ren gjæraroma, er den glatt, slående og midnattsmørk.
The decoction mash really comes through—it gives the body a round, almost bread-like depth that I wasn't expecting from a porter. Balanced cleanly on the finish, so it's easy to have a second bottle without it feeling heavy.
The mosaic hops give it a surprisingly bright edge for a porter—cuts right through the dark malt richness. Poured it for a friend who usually sticks to IPAs and he was genuinely impressed. Nice balance of bold and smooth.
