Poured this at cellar temperature with a slice of dark chocolate torte and the espresso and coconut notes came through perfectly. It's sweet and roasty without being syrupy, and the pepper kick on the finish keeps it interesting. I'll definitely be grabbing another bottle for the next dessert night.
The nose hits you with rum raisin and marzipan before the malty sweetness settles in; the espresso and pepper notes come through on the finish. Sipped it slowly with a slice of chocolate torte and it held up beautifully—smooth, rich, and satisfying.
Poured it with a square of dark chocolate and honestly the espresso and pepper notes came through just as promised—deep, roasty, and sweet without being cloying. The coconut and rum raisin really linger on the finish. Exactly what I was hoping for on a cold evening.
