Een makkelijk wegdrinkbare, dorstlessende, smakelijke Quafzilla. We hebben dit beest gevuld met HBC 472, Talus en Simcoe voor maximaal sap, terwijl het toch een zeer behapbare 4,7% blijft. Proost, ouwe reus.
Poured it into a glass and the aroma hit me before I even took a sip—so much juicy character for a 4.7% beer. Went down dangerously fast, and I actually felt fine after a couple, which is exactly what I want from a session ale.
The hop combo here is the star—HBC 472 and Talus give it this big juicy pop without any heaviness, and at 4.7% I can actually have two without feeling like a nap is mandatory. Crushed a couple after mowing the lawn and it went down almost too quick.
The 4.7% ABV makes it dangerously easy to put away a few on a weeknight, and the HBC 472 and Simcoe combo gives it that juicy kick without weighing you down. Halfway through my second can and I’m already thinking about grabbing another sixer.
