My first glass vanished before dinner was even on the table. The vanilla and lactose swirl together so smoothly that the orange doesn’t hit like a boozy liqueur, just a soft, creamy creamsicle from a summer porch.
Took a sip and it genuinely tastes like the orange creamsicle from my childhood, but with a nice boozy kick that doesn’t overpower the lactose and vanilla. The swirl of flavors is balanced enough that I could see myself sipping this even when the sun’s not out.
The vanilla and orange hit in the right order—creamy first, then that bright citrus kick, just like a melted creamsicle. I poured it over ice and it was gone before I knew it.
