The wheat backbone gives it a silky body that I wasn’t expecting from a blonde, and the fruity crispness stays bright right to the last sip. I cracked one open after mowing the lawn and it just hit the spot.
That honey note is just enough to round out the crisp wheat finish without making it syrupy—poured it ice cold after mowing the lawn and it hit the spot perfectly. Fruity and refreshing, exactly what a blonde ale should be.
Opened one after dinner and the wheat body makes it feel almost bready underneath that crisp, fruity finish. The local honey isn't shy, but it doesn't turn it into a dessert—just enough sweetness to keep things interesting. Definitely going back for another six-pack.
