House Of Pale è una delle ricette che abbiamo portato dal nostro amato laboratorio di Copenhagen, BRUS. Una New England Pale Ale con luppoli Equanot. Nel corso dell'anno ha subito molte modifiche e aggiustamenti, sperimentando dosi di luppolo e 'croccantezza' generale – e ora siamo abbastanza sicuri di aver ottenuto esattamente ciò che cercavamo.
Cracked one open after dinner and that soft haze from the Equanot hops gives it a juicier mouthfeel than I expected for a pale. It's clearly been tweaked a lot, and the balance feels spot-on — easy to sip but still interesting.
That Equanot hop character really comes through—juicy on the nose and a gentle bitterness that doesn’t linger. I grabbed this on a whim and the 44 cl can felt like a proper session-sized pour, perfect for a slow evening.
The Equanot hops give it that soft, juicy aroma I keep chasing in a pale ale, and the body is just hazy enough without feeling heavy. Opened one after a long week and it was gone before I even thought to grab a snack—solid, easy drinking.
