Kæm med North Sea Porter – en djærklare twist på Anspach & Hobday’s klassiska London Black Porter. Vi har fyllt den med mosaikhopper, omgått det mörka maltet og lagt til decoction mash. Balansert av en ren jøtterlyd, den er slät, anmärkningsværd och midnattmörk.
The decoction mash really comes through—it gives the body a round, almost bread-like depth that I wasn't expecting from a porter. Balanced cleanly on the finish, so it's easy to have a second bottle without it feeling heavy.
The mosaic hops give it a surprisingly bright edge for a porter—cuts right through the dark malt richness. Poured it for a friend who usually sticks to IPAs and he was genuinely impressed. Nice balance of bold and smooth.
The decoction mash really shows—there's this round, almost silky depth to the dark malt that I wasn't expecting from a porter. Paired with the mosaic hops, it's bold but stays surprisingly balanced; I've already grabbed a second bottle.
