I samarbejde med Purpose Brewing brugte vi porrer i mæsken, tomat og kamille i kedlen/whirlpoolen, og tilsatte derefter soltørret tomat og Urfa biber i tanken efter gæring. Urfa biber er en ungarsk peber, der er røget og smager af tørret frugt.
The leek in the mash is such a wild idea, but it gives this an earthy backbone that makes the tomato and chamomile pop in a way I didn't expect. Glad I grabbed a bottle to try alongside dinner.
The chamomile really comes through on the finish, which I wasn't expecting from a beer with tomato in it. Poured it for a few friends and we all kept going back for another sip to figure out what exactly we were tasting.
