That red foam really does look like lava spilling over the rim, and the beetroot gives it a deep earthiness I wasn't expecting. The chipotle heat builds slowly on the finish, but the smokey salt keeps everything balanced. One of the most memorable stouts I've had this year.
The smoke hits first, then the heat creeps in slow—that black volcanic salt and chipotle combo is genuinely unlike anything else I’ve tried. Poured it over a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the big red foam just floated there like a proper eruption, bold and ridiculous in the best way.
Poured it out and the foam really does tower like lava—almost spilled over the glass. The heat from the chipotle and ancho builds slow behind all that beetroot sweetness, and the black volcanic salt gives it a mineral edge I can't stop thinking about.
